Mendocino boasts some of the largest trees in the world; with towering redwoods it would take twenty people to wrap their arms around. There are also beautiful groves of sequoias, pines, and more to explore. With miles of hiking trails just outside of our doors, it would be criminal not to.
Northern California is a world-renowned wine producing area, and we encourage visitors to explore the nearby award-winning vineyards such as Goldeneye Winery, which offers wine and caviar pairings, or Mendovino Wine Bar to taste a little bit of everything.
Our inn is just across from the breathtaking coast and cliffs of Mendocino. We highly recommend exploring them from the water with a kayak rental, where you can explore sea cliffs and caves and even see a sea lion or whale.
